Truth

Truth is simply the degree to which a model of reality (such as a belief) actually resembles that part of the world it purports to represent.

A belief may be considered true if it accurately represents reality.

If, as seems likely, there is a single objective reality, it follows that there is a single accurate description of that reality, upon which human belief will eventually converge, through the application of evidence and reason.

The opposite of truth is falsity.
