Women

Attraction To Men

The reason women seem to be attracted to aloofness in a man (at least initially) is that then they don’t have to worry about hurting his feelings.

Paradoxically, women are most impressed by men who aren’t trying hard to impress them.

Women are more attracted to men who are emotionally self-sufficient and who can make their own happiness.

Most women seem to prefer men who are funny, light-hearted, and optimistic over those who are grim and determined.

Women seem to be somewhat less consistent than men about which physical traits they find attractive in the opposite sex–maybe because men are more or less continually fertile. The traits they are attracted to are less about ability to have children (as with women) and more about ability to protect and provide, such as size and strength.

Emotions

Women are often more in touch with emotions than men. Happiness is an emotion. Therefore, women should be better at engineering their own happiness, yet paradoxically are afflicted with depression more often than men.

Sexual Orientation

Women are much more likely to be truly bisexual than men, who are usually either gay or straight.

Weight Training

Women produce about 20 times less testosterone than men, a key hormone necessary for building muscle mass. So unless they’re taking steroids or have a major hormone imbalance, weight training will NOT drastically increase the size of their muscles. However, it will greatly tone and strengthen them, and maker it much easier to maintain a healthy weight by continuously burning calories, even while at rest.
